Sorry I was just trying to be funny Yeah they could fix it, can be confusing especially for people who do the quest for the first time - I've played L2 since C4 and I feel like I haven't touched at least 1/5th of the quests since I keep playing the same thing; so if I was to do a transfer quest for e.g. tyrant, I imagine I could get stuck killing a wrong mob

  4. ​Totally agree, for example, acumen SA in old l2 gave 15% casting speed, while now if i am not mistaken, at max lvl (13) gives 6.65%, just lol (and no, the weight limit dont compensate at all), limit to +5 will only break the balance, ncsoft alrdy gave compensation for those classes where +15 is not as good as in other classes via skills, is just dumb cap it as +5 but implement rushes in melees, shadow step and many others balance givers. This is new passive skills. So Elf mage will have +13% cast speed ( with passive ) + 6.5% cast speed ( with SA ) = 19.5% cast speed. PVP Balance ​Yes, however. Cov/Pow/Pof are nerfed to hell. They will not have the same stats are original l2. NCSOFT decided to change the balance of the game from whoever has a prof wins pvp, to a more balanced approach. So they they nerfed profs to hell, and kept in +12 dyes. (Not everyone will have COV in pvp, but everyone can have +12 dyes) Not only does this make your gameplay/style dynamic on how you want your character to be, but it also makes it so a person without COV has a chance to keep up with a player who has COV in pvp. ----------------- PVE Balance Not only does this affect PVP, but this effects PVE aswell. Do you really think that a new player will be able to catch up to veterans without +12 dyes? I just made 2 characters from scratch in november, and I'll tell you now. I probably would of stopped playing them if it wasnt for the +12 dye power spike. It makes gameplay not as stale from previous servers i've been on, and I've been playing l2 for years now. +12 DYES ARE FUN! Players have been farming with +12 dyes for a year+ now. This is going to severely hurt new players a lot more than you think. ----------------- Compensation?? If you are going to take this approach and remove +12 dyes. I would like free dye removal, and free giran store dyes for a month. I have multiple characters with +12 dye stats, and it will take millions of adena to switch their dyes. God, I can just sense the frustration of someone who farmed 30x +4 stat -4 stat dyes. ----------------- Thoughts I don't think you guys realize what you are doing with this gameplay change. I think you are rationalizing it by, "Oh well there are (really bad) SAs in the game now! Time to remove +12 dyes!" NCSOFT balanced dyes with the WIT nerf and DEX buff. Stop trying to make it something its not. ----------------- Personal I might seriously quit over this change depending how bad my character gets post 2.0 compared to right now. This change is VERY demotivating, I could stand the waiting a year+ for beast shots. But this is getting ridiculous. I might as well play an interlude server. WIT is already taking a significant nerf. Now I cant have +12 dyes. You're shitting on my character. Literally. NCSOFT nerfed WIT already. Stop the over-nerfs. Fighters love +12 str dyes. Mages love +12 wit dyes, I even chose my class based off of the +12 dye system, when I first started playing here. Just deal with it. This was one of my initial appeals to playing on the classic server. Something NEW and EXCITING! I really hope everyone reads this whole post. Cool story ​Disagree, gfbot is one of my favorite forum members here, I throughly enjoy reading his posts, he always manages to write things in a way that makes you think summoners are Jews and devs are nazis. I always read his arguments and I think to myself 'well he has a point' but then I realize it's gfbot so everything's 500% exaggerated.

  6. Yep, the OE weapons are annoying as hell and very discouraging to newbie players. But gl with farming Shamans, sometimes I wake up early around 4 AM and the best spots are taken anyway

Initially I thought it's going to be a special Christmas present, but now I hold my hopes up for a 31st December / New Year's. The reason is simple, since the start of the H5 server is announced for January, they'll need some extra time to finish everything after they're done with the 2.0. I estimate the arrival of the H5 server for the second half of January, ~15. to 20. with a bit of luck.

  14. Yeah actually that's a good point, definitely start now if you can, mobs on level 20 and above drop the event items which can help you to equip yourself much faster. After the event ends, you'll see

  16. I'd wait for 2.0 at this point really... Achievement and academy system is going to make leveling up alone much less frustrating for you.Problem is poorly set party bonus (2 people = 30% bonus, 3 people = 35% bonus) which discourages people from taking another member in if they have a box buffer (which most people do), so unless you find a CP you're going to be very alone until higher levels.
  17. Well, I don't know... If you just hit it up with old SA system, then owners of Demon Staffs will feel cheated over people who OE'd homus. But if you don't implement the old SA system, then those +10++ Demon Staffs have about the same m. atk as Daspa +6 which nobody is ever going to get unless it's bugged again... And the +5% PvP bonus, I don't think that's enough for those people to ditch their old Star Wars weapons...
  18. I have to agree with @kktnxbye there - it's statistically impossible to have so many +10++ weapons only a year after opening. There must've been some error along the way. I think the biggest task devs are facing right now is how to balance A grade weapons in a way they become reasonably stronger than those +10 C's to reduce those '5000x BR server style' weapons in Giran Harbor without making their current owners feel cheated...

  21. ​Thanks! Dark Lords from Cruma is for a party I suppose? Or it solvable solo? ​If they're the same as on previous chronicles, they're in groups with very high p.atk, so definitely party. Also had my eye on them, but didn't have anyone to go there with. Imo for maximum profit, the best way would be a mini-CP of 3 people - spoil, DD and healer/recharger

  23. Well you must have played on a different rates servers. I spent most of my time on C4 - Interlude low rates (<5x) where it was all about parties. I remember I used to look for parties even when I was doing transfer quest... But it's a bit different here. There's much less people around those levels, so it needs to be pushed a bit. Obviously some crazy zergs will rush it to 40 in few days, but this change is aimed to a bit casual players.
  24. Well I don't have any statistics, we don't even know what's the online number so it's impossible to catch a specific number. However, try to imagine this situation - le's say you've quit L2 some time ago: Now you feel kinda nostalgic and you see some kind of 'classic' chronicle, so you decide to give it a shot. When you log in on the server, you see an empty town. But that's obvious, it's old server, of course the starting villages won't be crowded. However then you level up to 20, 25, 30... And you still can't find any party, because the only people you encounter are people with boxes who won't party you because you'd just slow them down. And so, even if you're a team player and you'd be willing to find a CP then, you will just quit before 40 because you have nobody to play with. This system revamp is aimed to change it. Again, you're assuming that everyone who joins Classic knows exactly what it is. That's just plain untrue. Many people are coming here just to give it a shot. The number of people who are coming here with a CP is negligible. Absolute majority newbies are solo players who then look for clan or CPs here. There's probably some language barrier here, but I'll just point out that people who enjoy the 'hard style' don't have to be necessarily willing to play solo for so long; aka even hardcore players may get discouraged by lack of 'party play' before reaching level 40. Again, you're missing the very point of this topic - this bonus is supposed to motivate people to find a party, not to help them level up. You need to realize this first. Then? Then it's not important because 98% of people 65+ have a clan or party. You're again missing the point of this, this system is NOT supposed to help people play solo 60+ You're one of a simple mind, aren't you? How does this even make any sense in connection to what's been told above? I tried to read the sentence several times but had no luck.
  25. ​Again... I already talked about it in my first post, duo = 30% bonus, trio = 35% bonus. Unless you're as you said on a spot where you can farm constantly without having to run long paths between mobs (LoA as you mentioned), taking a third member will slow you down on most farming spots, especially below 40 where it's most crucial, because most newbies will leave before reaching this "checkpoint". But it's all in my first post already... ​I don't want to be rude but at this point I'm not sure if you're trolling or not. All of your arguments are completely invalid if you read my post in whole, not just bold parts. Talking about excessive exp bonuses goes exactly the opposite way I headed in my first post. If you're trying to make valid arguments, please take a time to read the whole part Ok: the topic is about lets force admins to do some stuff: which is useless/ maybe good, and all important bugs , 2.0 etc is useless, cause you "smart" and what to implement some useless bullshit ? Rewards for PTs some weapons wtf man. Maybe also dungeons and instances? And random loot for party after it what the hell is that ? But I appreciate the fact that you already recognized that my main concern are, indeed, the newbie players below 40. At least we got there.
