To be honest I haven't played H5 in a while and mostly I've played on midrates where quests weren't that important, because the Adena and XP rate were high enough to not have to bother with the quests, with exception to obviously sub/nob quests, the one in Aden for EWC/EWB (hunting mobs in Ancient Battleground), some boosted quests like Lidia's Heart or the Pavel's Last Research... Here's the list of the quests - it seems to be incomplete since e.g. the card quest isn't even mentioned, but it gives you the idea. I mean, it's incomparable with Classic quests where the reward barely covers the expenses for a teleport; if you like doing quests, H5 rewards you appropriately. About spoils - well, not exactly. It's again entirely different situation from Classic. Even if the rates would be x1 (which I don't think would be the case), it would still be at least ~20x faster than the current Classic servers. You rush through the 20s 30s like nothing, you pick the C grade and as far as I remember, many people skipped the B grade completely. BUT you you still need to craft A+, right? Especially the armors, everyone needs those DCs, Tallums, Majestics etc. There's pretty huge gap between availability of A grade and S grade, let alone Dynasty, especially on low rate servers. You just can't get to level 80+ with Karmian (challenge accepted anyone?), so still 98% of people will craft the A grade equip, where these materials simply are needed, alongside with keys and recipes, obviously. And it doesn't stop there, when you get higher you - again - need spoil for Dynasty and Vesper (which is being spoiled I think in Monastery of Silence and you need a full group of decently equipped people to survive there, but that's story for another day). /There's also Moirai and Elegia but those can't be crafted as far as I remember/. Spoil just never stops being needed because even if you - some day - get to the absolute endgame, you still will want to craft another Vespers so you can enchant them as high as possible, but your S crystals will keep stacking. I mean - yeah, the material prices will be probably a bit lower in first week or two, but that's about it, after some while it will rise to the value you're used to (here's a H5 calculator - http://l2j.ru/index.php?p=0. It's based on java and admins said they have OFF files, so the data may be a bit different, but it should be alright)

Well there's one major change - newbie buffs are now available until 75. But you need to understand that leveling up is MUCH easier on High Five than it used to be on older chronicles. And it's not only Vitality system that gives you up to 300% bonus in exp, High Five also has a new, much easier experience curve, so now you need to get much less XP to level up. Also there're several high exp reward quests like Pailaka or the Cruma tower quests, there's Kamaloka which is a mini raid you can join with ~4 other people, equip is much easier to gain as you can buy basically a top C grade equip from shop for fraction of its original price (the 'common' items which you cant enchant/get SA to, but otherwise they're identical) etc. etc. Other than that there're tons and tons of new buffs, it would be difficult to mention them all so I'll refer you to the Skill Tree link I've posted above. Fun fact - on High Five even warsmiths have I think 6 new buffs they can give to people Aside from fairly boring stuff, here are some honorable mentions: Great Fury - not exactly a buff, but a Trigger. It's Warcryer's new skill on level 83 that gives him a chance to buff entire party with additional Haste when attacking with his new short range skill. Really huge. Counter Critical - gives you 30% resist against criticals. But that's not the best part - when you're under attack, there's chance it will Trigger another buff which increases your short-range critical power against other people. I don't know the exact numbers but trust me when I say you start hitting like a truck. , , and New Kamael buffs - when a Kamaels (the new race) levels up 2 other subclasses (they can only get a sub within their race), they can get a Inspector as their 3rd sub. This profession is mostly known for those buffs above - Appetite for Destruction, Protection Instinct, Vampiric Impulse and Magic Impulse. Those are party buffs - 15 seconds duration, 5 minutes reuse. You know, weak stuff, but you can check those anyway

So as many of you probably already noticed, there's another low rate High Five (probably) coming in January next year. As you can say from the responses in the announcement thread, people have very mixed feelings about it. But anyway there's this one thing that caught my attention: I'd like to figure out if that's true. I kindly ask you to be as honest as possible in the poll; fanboys or haters won't help anything, this is purely informative.

Here you can read all the patch notes from C1 to High Five: http://legacy.lineage2.com/news/highfive_01.html It's a lot of reading though; I assume you remember Interlude as it was, so that's Kamael, Hellbound, Gracia 1, Gracia 2, Gracia Final, Gracia Epilogue, Freya and High Five, so 8 patch notes in total I'd suggest to just check the skill tree first to get an idea: http://skilltree.darkdragon.cz/skills.php?race=human&class=human_fighter&level=0&lang=en But to answer some of your questions: Q: What are the best classes on this chronione? A: High Five has definitely the best balance out of all chronicles; on a lowrate H5 server with no GMshop, all chars have their place; depending on dualbox policy there, I'd say even active Prophet will find his spot (though still, Warcryer would probably be a better alternative) Q: Do spoiling mate still counts and is worth to do spoiler? A: Absolutely. Not only that spoiling is as important as ever, if you check the Skill Tree I posted above you'll see they added him so many new skills he's basically a PvP char there, too. Q: How about destro on this chronione? A: Better than ever. Frenzy is a lot weaker there so he's not the ultimate RB killing machine he used to be, but he's got Rush (which 'teleports' you right to your opponent) and bunch of another skills so he's now much better on PvP side.

Most of them will come to Classic Club when 2.0 gets released anyway. I mean look at at the bump caused by 1.5 patch and it was much smaller than 2.0: source: http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/l2classic.club#trafficstats

Is not all about money. As a project/company we need to expand to a wider group of "clients". Nike tenis shoes didnt became worst cuz they started making shirts, if u know what i mean. We not gonna make classic worst just because we gonna offer what u have on classic for the high five fans also. Yeah but when you buy Nike shoes you still need Nike shirt. You're opening another low rate servers which is more of equivalent of iPhone - people have iPhone 5, when iPhone 6 gets released, half people will keep their iPhone 5 but the other half will buy the 6 because it's new alternative to what they have now. I mean, unless you have a theoretical plans to merge the servers at some point, but it would probably be extremelly complicated both technically-wise and fair-wise, because a year on Classic equeals a week on High Five of same rates

You know I'm a huge fanboy of the Classic Club project but I'm very, very unsure about this one... This will very likely cause 2 very hurtful vicious circles: Vicious Circle #1: Today is 29th November, but let's count it as October already. By the time the new H5 server comes, another 2+ months will pass. A lot of things will happen during that time, but a lot of things will not - especially when you're an average, solo-oriented players. 2 months is a lot of time to spend in a same location with not that much new being brought up with the patch - because let's be honest, most of the 2.0 changes are pure endgame content focused at hardcore players who spend countless of hours playing 5% for themselves, 95% for the clan. But if you're not member of these clans, if you're just a regular Dion dwarf who plays for fun, 2 months is a lot of time to get "seduced" by a similar, faster-paced servers with more features, same fantastic staff... And possibly some of your friends too, because let's be honest, each players have some friends here and each person switching to H5 can and most likely will cause smaller or larger chain reaction of leavers - thus creating a Vicious Circle #1, which will cause old players to leave to High Five because their friends are moving to High Five. Vicious Circle #2: Most of you are probably 40+ a long time already so you probably don't care, but recently I was <40 and I was pretty fascinated to see all those newbies running around even on low location. That being said, this sight was impressive not because there were any spectacular quantities of players, but because there were few people - even parties - on a 1+ year old server. These are crucial for functioning of the server. It's like house flowers - you pour some water in the pot and the flower imbibe it, but after some time it consumes most of it or it evaporates, so you have to water it again, otherwise it will wither and dry. Same goes for the server - you have a very nice number online right now, but naturally some people and leave and they must be replaced with new ones. As it is now, I'd say it's in very solid balance. However, imagine you're a newcomer and you see two servers: first one is a year old classic server, the second one is a brand new High Five. The A group of players would normally jump in the classic, however they're seduced by a fresh opened H5 and catches on there. The group B are classic-lovers so they're going to try the classic anyway. However, when they start leveling up, they get lonely and bored, because the group A of players they were supposed to meet at this point are playing on the fresh High Five server - thus creating a Vicious Circle #2, which will cause new players leaving to High Five because their "theoretical" buddies are playing there.I'm going to propose alternative solution tommorow, because I don't see this being a good idea as it is.
-
Well it's kind of hard to solve - if admins somehow change it that you stay online after closing the game, it would probably screw up with even more people who just want to farm but have poor internet connection or HW...

https://eu.4game.com/lineage2classic/play/saviors/ Note that these are official patch notes. As San0 mentioned in this preliminary patch notes thread, L2Classic Club probably won't be following all the changes (CP pots in store, dem star wars cloaks etc.), so it's more of a general info put together
-
Ah yeah the good old 1.0, I used to be so poor, too I mean, I'm still just as poor, but I used to be, too.
-
Ty vole pěkná aktivitka, ne že ne Kdybych nebyl takový casual tak bych se taky přidal, ale ve 4, v 5 ráno bych si s váma asi stejně nezaraidil
-
I recommend Hardin's Academy, too
-
I feel like there're more and more people every siege Nice vid anyway

Playing with other players is definitely the answer. People say playing with friends is the best, but I say matching up with randoms is where it's at. Usually the first ~1 hour everyone's just minding their own bussiness (just 'cg' on level up, 'lvl?', 'anyone got shots' etc.) but sooner or later people break the silence with absolutely anything to avoid going insane. And if you're unfortunate enough to stay in one good party for ~5 hours, things start to get... Philosophical.

I'd just add - why not make cloned seeds tradeable? If I'm solo player and don't have people to destroy the large squash, then I'm better off selling them
-
Well, seeing this thread... Op, BizQQuit, Ryok, CpitanBanan, D3vilo, that's 5 already, I check in too so that makes 6 of us, maybe if we get 3 more people to the server we can do some raids and stuff But really, population is very decent, but it's been long since the start and leveling up early is easy, so don't get discouraged if you don't encounter too many people under level 30, people start stacking around ~40
-
You need more people to hit the large pumpkins, because they automatically disappear after 3 minutes
-
Yeah your nickname also sounds very familiar
-
Oh yeah the Draqla... I remember when the whole thing was starting up there were like 50 people... I remember hola (4th member) and cassiopeia (26th member)... Good guys now gone, I wonder where their paths led them, but I hope they'll come back at some point, maybe with 2.0 update? I wonder how many of us first 100 members are still active, it's a pity you can't search the member by number /edit: just found out fishy (30th member) is still active, too And Draqla is now co-owner, I suppose?
-
Also - is there any difference between the real seeds and the cloned seeds (which you drop from mobs)? Aaand how many people does it take to take down the large squash? Are 2 enough or you need more?
-
All the trust and support 100% deserved, without fanboying too much the L2Classic Club is definitely one of the best servers I've ever played.
-
Well I'm using an older version of Chrome, so even though I've never had any similar issues with it, it might be the cause of it... But the fact itself that people are given this - in our case completely useless - service automatically without being properly explained what it does and how much it costs makes me believe it should not be the primary option for donation - let alone the only one.
-
YES! Amazing event, amazing reward, thank you based events once again...

...And since G2A is the only available option for Europe, I urge you to check your G2A shield status right now: https://pay.g2a.com/shield/status So, what's that all about? Well, whenever you try to make a payment through G2A, there's this generic banner in your payment window: "You are fully covered by G2A Shield" Sounds nice, right? It's not like you need extra protection for a €10 payment, but since you can't uncheck it anywhere, I assume that's a courtesy of the good people of G2A... Right? Well... Not exactly. It is some sort of 'advanced protection' and gives some other benefits for when you trade a large ammount of money with various people, but as long as your only payment is the donation to Classic, it's absolutely and 100% useless. What it does though, is that it drags €2 FROM YOUR BANK ACCOUNT EVERY MONTH UNTIL YOU DEACTIVATE IT. Again - you've never knowingly activated it - you got automatically subscribed to it when you've made a payment, so please, go login and check your G2A Shield status as soon as possible: https://pay.g2a.com/shield/status And then beware during the deactivation status: G2A does everything that's barely legal to prevent you from deactivating the service. In the end of the process, it asks you to wait for at least 20 minutes for a confirmation email. I've waited roughly ~2 hours without getting the email, after which I had to contact their support to send the email manually. But please, don't get discouraged, and even if €2 is not a huge ammount of money for you, don't let them get away with this scam. On the same note, with regards to everything written above, I'd like to ask admins for additional options of donation, because G2A is a borderline scam company.
