It's just a matter of personal taste. some people will like it, some will not. I myself enjoyed the concept. It's fun. It's like quests in L2 should be though.

That's the biggest downside of the Classic system for me. They could've fixed that already by increasing skill reuse time of fear and summons, as I've seen in some other projects.

Start off in a pvp-oriented server and try all races and classes. Port to all villages and places, walk around the map. Get to know skills, how they work and stuff. Don't start in a classic server, people will expect you to know how things work, in case you find a group to level up with or raids.

As you're a newbie starting from scratch, I highly suggest you to grind and gather some adena. Best places for adena drop above lv20 are Abandoned Camp, Orc Barracks, Forgotten Temple, Partisan's Hideway, Ant Nest and maybe Overlords from Breka Stronghold and Plains of Lizardman. I can't help you with your questions but I will send you a gift.

This new cc loot system has more cons than pros. You guys care to explain why this decision was made? In my prime 4 out of 5 bosses I attend there's this oe destro chn party that inflicts 70% of the damage of the whole group of players. This way all drops will go their hands. Personally I don't care about it, but it's not fair for other players.

After level 20, Abandoned Camp or Orc Barracks (Gludin) and Fortress of Resistance aka Partisan's Hideway (Dion) are the best spots for adena farming. Lv25 start Moon set quest for d grade set and weapon. What's your nick ingame?

As you're starting from scratch I see a long and hard path ahead for you. Have you considered playing L2 Essence? Anyway, start leveling your bd first with wc in party and skip bosses till 40 to make some adena. Make it till Lv58 through bosses and then you'll have all dances you need for your tyrant. Then start your tyrant with wc in party and bd off party only for dances. Use heavy armor only, and try to buy othell 6 as soon as possible to maximize your tyrant potential. That's basically that and the rest you'll figure out as you play. Good luck!

You can buy itens on Auction. Log into your account on the website and you'll see it. I don't think you can make much of adena by spoiling, try anything else you enjoy playing.

if they decide to go melee then there's many options to take into account but these following classes are highly recommended SK DA TYRANT DESTROYER PS, if they choose DA SE main

3 archers, sws, bd wc and ee as boxes. _ 3 mages, tank, bd pp and se as boxes. _ wl, tyr, (2nd tyr/glad/dwarf), tank, bd wc and ee hope someone answer this but in late game farm I think melee parties have some advantage over others, right?

Warlord is an aoe-oriented class, so that's the best option out of those you mentioned. Although Destroyer can be good in aoe, you'll need to invest more on gear to be as effective as WL. And Tyrant is the best farmer in game but not effective in solo aoe.
