Improve Auction house? Make it useful!

Hello!

I want to know if its possible to improve differents things about the current auction house. All people know that this system isn’t very useful for different reasons:

      1)      Time to put items: +24h to validate item (mínimum and only if gms accept it)

      2)      Can’t  change price --> To change we have to make ticket and start the process again

      3)      Can’t put the price we want

      4)      All items accepted have prices more higher than ingame

      5)      Sometimes can’t put items at same prices than same items validateds on auction. WTF??

Probably there are more reasons but, why don’t work on it? With the current system gm’s have a lot of work and for users is not useful to make trades.

In my opinión :

     1)      Every player/account should put item at the moment, with a max of items.

     2)      Have an option to change price

     3)      Choose the price that we want for every item. What’s the problem if i want to put a item too expensive? If price it’s too high nobody will buy. And if it’s cheaper it’s ok for buyer and seller becouse both are agree.

     4)      If we can choose prices we will put prices similar to game and auction house will have more movement than now.

     5)      If item is in auction and nobody buy it why i have to put more expensive? xD

It's possible to make something??

And other points from ur posts make sense, and were addressed to gms several times in past and nothing changed so good luck. Ppl who proposed changes before, already gave up ;)

This is the biggest one in my opinion. Why do GMs feel the need to cancel auctions if the price is too low? I get cancelling if the price is too high in order to avoid flooding of the auction house, but too low? What is the point? A free market should have no restrictions.

make this post on chinese and u will get some comments and attention, cause imp pretty sure most of ppl who use that auchion thing and russian casino roulette arer chinese.

Hello. There are few issues with it.
#1
1) Each item must be checked. Download logs/check logs of that item/check every trade regarding that item/check if a person already have 5 items on all of his accounts.
2) We can't make whole process faster - because part of that wait process there are to prevent people from scamming item and trying to sell it via auction. 2-3 days is optimal to notice some item from your char was stolen.

For me main issue with it if you change price and person didn't updated page - he will try to buy item using old price, but will have to pay new price. And sometimes we can have issues that someone payed extra because they didn't noticed that during his buying process price increased.

We are trying to not give players legal RMT platform. For example: someone trying to sell A weapon for RMT and placing this weapon on our auction to buyout for 1 euro. Sometimes you just can't give such freedom, because people will start abuse it.

 #1 Ok, if it's necessary to check and it requires 2-3 days forgot this point.

If you refer to that it's not a problem (point  #1) players now don't decide when item are on auction, so if someone put for example Peril +10 in 1euro the first who see the item will buy it.

In auction the most cheaper demon's staff +10 cost: 60euro (+2) = 238,7kk --> And it's the most cheaper, if i try to put now a demon's staff +10 at same price i'm sure that item will be rejected.

About №3.
Other issue that we have with that is people trying to sell faster and dropping price low. When there is a lot of same items, people logic will be to drop price in order to sell it faster. At some point you will have an issue, that it will cost less, then it should. At this point, if you still can't sell the item, but you really want to, you will continue dropping the price. Other people won't put their items at all, because they will see a price on item that is too low for them to even get any profit from it. Same logic is behind Oil pricing. Companies making conferences where they decide minimum Oil price. They can sell it cheaper, but it will heart whole economy. Players who are selling items on auction will start earning less money from it or won't have any profit at all which will scare them from the auction.

About №4. We can't bind auction item price to CoL price because of:
CoL price is not constant. It can be up to 500k per CoL and few weeks later drop to 250k per CoL, based on CoL amount in game.
Control CoL price each time before approving item on the auction is bad. 1 day we won't be able to approve 60 euro for your Staff, because CoL price is low and next day, when price will increase - we will have to approve even 50 euro for your Staff.

Because you won't be able to change price on a go, you can't compete with items that were approve when CoL had high price. And difference can be insane. Based on your staff example it can be from 40 euro ( when CoL price is 500k ), to 80 euro ( when CoL price is 250k ).
