  1. Except most of the time we don't because there's no 2.0 database and unless @San0 digs the info in some russian darknet we're mostly just guessing

    Pizza

Ooooo would you look at that, another pineapple-on-pizza-hater pleb... How does it feel having inferior peasants taste buds, hmm hmm? Only true gourmets can appreciate this delicacy. Harsh but true.

    Pizza

^This, literally doesn't deserve hero for this hodl technique. But pineapple is delicious on pizza, it makes the perfect combination of tastes, everyone who hates pineapple on pizza hates life.
  4. Hmm... If I count right, foe example the Infinity Rod's m.atk to around +16, +17 homu which isn't that insane. The stat bonuses aren't otherwordly either... Next hero bishop will be probably very happy with "Infinity Power - Mana Limit: for 30 sec. magic skills don't consume MP." for his but generally speaking these aren't exactly 'one man army' weapons some people are making them look like. Sure - they'll be imba for 1v1 but I don't they'll be 'table turners' in mass pvp.
  5. This is a myth - it's true that you're not supposed to see it, but the game can't know if your eyes are closed or not You need to turn off your monitor+speakers or just alt+tab if you have 'optimize performance' enabled and sounds turned off.
  6. I mean isn't that a part of the game? Yeah I like to trade but why should traders like me be punished with custom features? Realistically speaking, the entire problem revolves around what's comfortable vs. what's classic and Lineage II. But perhaps it's too late to really persuade the people that this is not exactly how the game is supposed to be... I guess most people just want the game to stay custom & comfy, so at least remove that sleep animation and fishers from Giran Harbor...
  7. If you have 0 lags in GH then why'd you complain about having equeal ammount of lags in Giran? The only place affected in Aden would be the bottom square, and honestly when you gather you usually gather around GK - the area which I agree should be turned into a 'VIP ticket zone' one way or another because it's annoying in it's current state already (no shops in sight = no lags. If you have fraps, you can check it for yourself when you scroll the camera to the ground vs. on the shops). Rest of the towns would be unaffected alltogether.because for the very small percentage of goods having a potential being traded in lowbie areas, most people already try their luck there - and for the few times I've been in Gludio recently for example, the ammount of traders gradually decreased to one or two shot traders (with spikes during event of course). If the Giran Harbor was to be terminated, most people would simply move to Giran. You don't get to sell AOBA keys to people who are looking to buy SSD for 10 instead of 11a.
  8. 1) The porting time is unchanged because PCs and NPCs only start loading once you port + 2) How long have you been playing on this server that you don't know how the shops even load? When you're just switching towns and run straight to GK, the FPS drop is literally nonexistent because you simply don't load enough shops to make it an issue.
  9. How is it my fault? I'm glad they did it but I never really advocated for it in it's current shape... But yeah removing the sleep animation should be an obvious option regardless of their decision. If there needs to be an offline shop indication - make it so that players' nick turns grey.
  10. This is never going to happen as long as there's a free port to GH from everywhere. Saying 'you can move out of trading center if you want' is like saying 'yeah nobody is forcing you to use soulshots to farm'. Zones out of trading center simply don't have enough traffic to make the bussiness successfuly.
  11. There's tons of unused zones on the map, doesn't mean we have to fill all of them with lags. And yeah teleporting fees are indeed part of the game - but honestly how is the situation any different now? Pretty much the only difference would be that 80 to 90% of the traders would move to Giran Town and 10 - 20% to Aden, rest of towns would be unaffected because the only merchandise being traded there are basic mats and shots. By a simple principle, nobody is going to be trying to sell ++B weapons to early 20s in Gludin. And if you're looking for a specific expensive item, you need to check both GH and Aden even now.
  12. I like how you crashed that BW helmet as an offering to the RNG fairies and followed other basic enchanting principles (like having the weapon equipped and enchanting on dwarf for higher chance), but you completely forgot about adding +STR dyes for higher enchant chance. But worked anyway so who am I to judge. Congratz!
  13. Hey mate - try to contact @Koll on Skype: koll.classic If anyone can help you with this, it's that guy
  14. 1) What do you mean? It literally does change the gameplay, it gives everyone free teleport to Giran from everywhere. You know which custom doesn't change the gameplay at all? For example these, perhaps we should implement in a quick patch. 2) Loading doesn't matter, what matters is the performance drop when you have tons of shops loaded in your vision with no walls. 3) What's the reason of half-assing it again? You get to have a single place where fishers and traders can live in peace and not have to jump from town to town to do one thing or another. 4) Ok - go to Giran Harbor, load shops, find the craft that you need, then go back to town and return again. Those 2 minutes which you will be waiting for your craft to appear is your answer. The problem is that Giran Harbor is a custom feature which is supposed to make life easier, but on several occasions it actually makes the game more frustrating. 5) How is changing town even a problem? The ammount of shops doesn't play a part in loading times for teleporting, you can check it for yourself, Giran Harbor has tons of shops but you teleport to it as fast as to any other town. And as I explained many times before - if you're not looking for shops, just running through doesn't make much difference - the ammount of shops only play part when you're specifically looking amongst the traders. I mean seriously, aside from the 'comfortable gameplay' part there's zero arguments for keeping this gameplay-intervening custom feature.
  15. Voted a) because I've had enough of this Giran Harbor cancer, BUT instead of half-assing the problem, let's solve this issue completely, which means: 1) Disabling the custom teleport to Giran Harbor 2) Making the teleports free for players of level 19 and below (because let's be honest, major reason for the Giran Harbor is the 'wow' effect for newbies - this way we keep this effect in effect and we also get rid of an unfortunate custom feature) I used to think the best solution would be just moving the zone to Giran Town manually, but honestly the more I think about it I realize that it's best to let the market find its path. Once the free TPs to Giran Harbor are gone, people are going to move to Giran automatically because it's a logical choice. Though I believe there're ways to make the reborn trading zone in Giran Town even better, to help both the economy itself and also a little overflow of perhaps a bit unnecessary shops: a) Re-introduce the offline shop system for the most prestigious (aka the highest traffic) areas, for example the lesser part the Ivy Q1 under the GK. But the offline ticket needs to change - I believe the VIP offline areas should be an interesting even for people with short hold merchandise - if you're aiming at ~500k daily profit for quick turn merchandise, you don't want to lose quarter of your daily profits on an offline tickets. It would need to be thought out a bit. b) Implement some kind of limitations for the offline shop - there's no reason people should be able to make XY shops within an hour and flood the market. Making it available from level 20 would've done the job well. But don't get me wrong, I'm all for removing the offline animation one way or another, I'm just afraid admins will just remove it and postpone this final solution till who knows when...
  16. Got me scared when you named the vid "final chapter" But huge gratz!
  17. 1) It's custom. Giran Town is a classic. 2) It lags because there are no walls to divide the sectors, unlike in Giran Town 3) It lags even more because the fishers are right next to the trading zone, unlike in Giran Town where fishing zone and trading zone are divided with several walls and thus cause no performance drops 4) Giran Harbor doesn't have the infrastructure of a trading center - when you want to buy gemstones, soul ores, spirit ores, armor/wep to crystalize etc., when you want to add rune to weapon etc. you need to go to town. Everything you need is in Giran Town. You only have warehouse in Giran Harbor which is - you guessed it - custom spawned. 5) Did I mention Giran Harbor is custom? Because that's exactly what it is, it's a custom zone with custom free port with custom NPCs, it's against literally everything a Classic chronicle stands for. Meanwhile Giran Town has been a trading center since always and it's a definition of Classic.
  18. ...Or you can finally move the trading zone in Giran Town already... I mean how much work it really is? I just checked Giran, it has no issues with trading zones or anything, everything working properly, it's ready to fly. Giran Harbor is cool when you're in remote town and want to just jump in to buy some shots, but at the point you mean to make some real bussiness, you need to prepare your butt for a true Realm of Terror. And I really believe that most people just skip the bussiness part of this game because of how incredible dick cancer Giran Harbor is at its current state, and poor servers' economy = poor servers' health. I really believe you can really help the server grow further by removing the offline shop animation and moving the shops to Giran.
  19. If you mean the "Level" part then it holds no reference value as this range only serves as "recommended" level, not as a restriction: ^Works on any level. It also doesn't say anything about "restrictions", which means following strictly the Wiki informations - and that's really the only information we can work with right now - it is supposed to work for everyone. But as I said before, whether it is a bug or not doesn't really play a big part here, because: 1) if it isn't a bug, then it's pure "quality of life" improvement for us collectors 2) If it is a bug, then nobody - besides us collectors - really cares because most newbies just take the quest for free D armor pre-40 and for 40+ it doesn't really hold much value. Maybe the small MP regen bonus could be nice for some newbies who play solo and for some reason forgot to do the quest, and can't afford BW yet. But I understand that these players really represent marginal percentage, so as I said before - it's a QOL improvement aimed at us collectors. @Koll @Manton pls, don't forget about us collectors
  20. I'd totally wait until some would pop up eventually tho But to each his own I guess, maybe the improv would've crashed anyway, who knows
  21. When you try to take the quest with char after 2nd transfer quest, it says it can only be taken by chars 25+ (no word on "you're too high for this" or anything). I'm not sure how it works on offi, but regardless could you please remove the apparent 40+ restriction? The quest gives only that one armor which can't be sold and I imagine most people trash it once they get the C armor, but it's literally priceless for us collectors
  22. Did you just use a non-improved scroll on a +14 gun? Gratz tho
  23. Dunno, but it would explain why everyone can log in and you can't btw. have you tried other browsers? In any case I think you'll need to contact some Discord support, and hope that their support isn't only on Discord
  24. The new link works for me too... Maybe you're banned or something?
  25. "CON stat affecting stun resistance" shouldn't be on the list at all, let alone a "priority". It's one of those controversial ""bugs"" where it's not sure if it actually doesn't make the game better. I'm not saying just forget about it, but unless it takes <5 minutes to fix, focus on more important tasks which really just intervene heavily with the game.
