People should also play the game in a Classic way. That means party up and not buff yourself with a 2nd Premium Account. I hope most players won't donate for the PA, just for the hair accessory (like me) so we can play together and not as solo individuals. As for all the haters... This is what economics is all about. You need to PAY if you want to play ;-) They need some kind of income to provide this server. See you all in game (maybe twice if you pay for it :p)

Ik zal zeker de eerste uren spelen, maar ik vrees ook voor vele DDos attacks, chaos, Russisch en Spaans gezever op de shout chat en weet-ik-veel-wat-nog-allemaal. De eerste maand zal bepalend zijn of deze server succes heeft, maar ik hoop van wel.

We zien ons zeker in game en via friendlist houden we makkelijk contact. We zien wel of er een NL clan kan ontstaan, maar voorlopig start ik met enkele RL vrienden. Ik ben ook wel voorstander van archers en mages. Melee gaan niet veel pvp plezier hebben, vrees ik...

CAPS some more to emphasise your idea of the game. It seems like you're having a discussion with yourself rather then keep an open mind to what others think. A sad attitude but I will forgive you when you're burried in the sand because you got blasted down by a mage. Over and over again ;-) Then you will open another topic to say mages are OP but again you will have the conversation with yourself. The circle is round, isn't it?

You're playing the wrong game and complaining about something that simply defines L2. lvl1-52: Mages>archers>daggers/orcs lvl 52-75: Archers>mages>daggers/orcs lvl 76+: Daggers/orcs>archers>mages EDIT: Since we're playing Classic, it will mostly be lvl 1-52 ;-)

If you visit the forum daily you can see the community growing. A month ago it was at 10~20 logged in players and another 100 visitors at best. Now we have 50+ members and 400+ during prime time. They are bringing back the hype and we should keep encouraging them. ​They will once they have established everything else. I'm glad they wait long enough before they ask for money before they can make any promise. At least now they took enough time to make a decent decision. I will sign up for premium, but you just have to be patient ;-)

I would not split up this small community into two servers with different rates. Maybe you could slightly increase the rates but it's part of the Classic experience to be hard to play. I also have less time then before but I don't mind to farm lvl 30 areas when there are a lot of players out there killing the same stupid low level mob. I hope we can see a massive amount of parties and people trying to help each other. That is what this server is all about.

Dirty websites running to ease the download time could explain the drop in transfer speed... I hope you get it up and running when Live starts. Edit: I'm seeding the filed again on torrent.

Beta is a pre-release test phase where things can change during the process. It's beta... BETA!! Your chars will be wiped in a few weeks with or without your demand for a reroll-back.

After 48 hours, 70 people voted. I'm guessing the same who kept playing the BETA ;-)

I like the new communication strategy but this poll is weird. We have been waiting for a long time, so I'm guessing the votes will go to October 24th ;-)

I have a feeling we were the BETA-testers for the upcoming 4Game project. There is just too much coincidence that they announced their next phase 3 days ago (https://4gameforum.com/threads/527509/#post-7785119) and now we know this L2Classic will merge with another partner. If it's a private server (like @Hethalion said: dex/rpg/averia/tales") the negotiations will have to run very smooth in order for the server to work. I am still convinced this server will one day start but I'm not sure if there are people still interested and willing to play. The darkness has clouded my vision for too long and the latest news is just painful... See you all in game, just don't know where ;-)
