Wurf the hat imo, if I knew I'd get it for 70kk I'd probably try it myself... Also, IEAC is worth how much, around 25kk? Sure, financially-wise it's a | |l || |_ compared to outwards selling the QI, but it's not a complete disaster imo

Y'all traitors abandoned my topic so I have to keep it alive meesa self

Sell them. If you're gambler you could try your luck, but you'd most likely end up in loss. 40kk is a crazy good money for someone who started 2 weeks ago.

Not sure around 40, but around 50 the Forest Runner is pretty solid mob to spoil in Enchanted Valley. After that, Slaughter Bathin (60) in ToI 3rd or 4th floor is pretty solid cash mashine - but you need party with some dagger who will lure the mob to you.

Would you mind sharing the final price?

Main reason why you don't see anyone on the early hunting grounds is that main way of leveling is via RB parties - when you catch a good party when a lot of RBs are alive, you can jump several levels in a single day... But don't worry, there'll be more and more people as you level up

Wish you all a trully wonderful 2020. May it be the best one for you yet ?

There'll always be people who will complain, but you can't lump all the naysayers together. If out of 10 people 7 people complain, and you change something and only 5 people complain afterwards, it's still a good step. I remember the alternation of weak and good events, I meant the longterm developement, i.e. even the weak events were usually more generous than the 'good' events from a year prior. About the cloak, it's an interesting point. To me the buyable cloak was actually the weakest point because it actually defeats the purpose even for us old players who are willing to spend hundreds of millions on it. Making the cloak directly buyable to me is a hotchpotch that fails to interest either group - newbies obviously won't buy it because ~80 million is still a lot of money and many old players feel like it's just not that valuable since it doesn't have the luck part in it. Funnily enough a lot of people felt this way so the cloak ended up being not that common in the end. But anyway the major problem with the cloak is that they decided to hand them out in special events like the valentine one where you could choose any you want for making a screenshot or something - bunch if people snatched a green cloak, which billions of adena was drowned in search of, for taking a screenshot with semi-funny catchphrase... But that's for a different discussion I guess.

yeah but it's something that I've been saying ever since this discussion started weeks ago, I'm not saying there should be some massive free hand outs like during the tiger event, I'm saiyng there should be some cosmetic jackpot rewards like in those old NCsoft events. Honestly if they keep the current forma and just add some 0,00nothing chance for the RB jewels or something flashy + set the item drop rate vs reward rate so that the actual ammount of 'good' rewards remain more or less the same (ie multiply the event drop rate and reduce the chance for 'good' rewards accordingly) I'd be all fine with it. I don't know. I feel like all the events (aside from the tiger one) were pretty evenly upgraded until recently where some kind of PTSD from that tiger event kicked in and they turned 180°... As the game progresses, the events actually should sorta always be better than before - in 2015 the 'jackpot' reward was EWC, if the rewards were the same as 4 years ago nobody would even pick up the event items. But anyway I feel like the current reward list is fine for the current state of the game, it just needs some virtually unobtainable flashy rewards as I mentioned above to make it less dull. This, and the better optimized drop/reward ratio.

I don't really see the price drop of runes, tablet or energy as an issue, if anything it moved the game forward a bit. From a market perspective I'd call it an early Zaken update. About the XP scrolls... I think bresses were just a better deal anyway, I don't see stacked up XP scrolls as that much of an issue. But again I'm not advocating for consumable stacking events, just an event that's actually enjoyable for everyone, which this event simply isn't. Alright about the death certs but I still don't see where was that 'exciting' reward that ruined the server for one and half years.. It was just the easily stackable consumables, nothing more.... And well, about these 'cash jews' - obviously when you have event with exciting rewards you're going to have resellers if the event items are tradeable, it's just how market works. But it's just a small price to pay for having events that are actually fun and get people hyped up. And there's a simple logic that works in this occasion every time - people won't leave because because there's like 5 more RB jewels lv 1 once or twice per year; people leave because they get bored, and they can get bored quite easily if they never get an event that's worth a damn, and instead they're just getting a glorified adena boost. It might not be a main reason, but it can very well function as a sort of last straw.

Tiger event wasn't bad because it had exciting awards, it was bad because of unfortunate implementation of bress scrolls and beer, which had no reuse back then. If neither of these were implemented then the event would've been okay. Perhaps the 'thrill' is not the best term, but rather some sort of 'excitement', something fun and out of ordinary that can't end up in a serious loss if you fail. Whichever term you use, as I mentioned before, NCsoft knew very well what they were doing with all these events in old chronicles, all of which were insanely ovepowered by today's standards and which none of them broke the game. They obviously went too far with recent ones, but they had the right idea all along. As mentioned many times before, no extreme is well on either side.
-
Good news, nobody's 85 yet There's no level cap, but exping on 80+ is so slow that reaching 85 is virtually impossible on this chronicle. As for the enchants, +18 are extremelly rare, most people in the endgame usually have around +12 or so because the ++guns are really not that important here. They're also quite available (e.g. +10 top C staff is is anyhow under 200kk /clean AOBA for comparison is around 15-20kk I think?/) so if you'll be an active group you'll gear up in no time. As for the online, we don't have a specific numbers but server has been running for over 4 years and from my own experience, the online is amongst the highest, if not the highest it's ever been. People keep coming in because official classic servers are a disaster and this is the only good Classic lowrate out there. Without fanboying too much I can definitely recommend.
-
Yeah but server needs some stimuli, people just need that kind of thrill from time to time to break from usual routine. NCsoft knew this very well, that's why all official events were 'overpowered' by many people's standards. It was true back then and it's especially true on lowrate classic. The problem is that the current event format is working exactly the opposite way - people had high expectations for the Christmas event and it turned out to be extremelly anticlimactic so it's actually discouraging instead of relieving. It's not a major problem since the online is good right now, but it's a problem nevertheless.
-
XP-only mobs drop items on high level, so I assume that should be the case for all XP-only mobs. They were adding these XP-only to event drop lists last year (they didn't use to drop anything in past), so it's possible this mob has slipped through. Try to make a ticket, they'll probably add the item to its drop list manually.

It's usually @Koll who takes care of technical issues - either PM him or contact directly via Skype - events.classic is the contact

Some bots are present, but they're not a major problem Anyway been here playing since day 1 and I'd agree that the server is in great condition. We've never had any official online numbers, but I'm sure the online these days is amongst the highest it's been for as long as the server runs. There's one considerate issue that kind of stems from the fact that the server has been running for over 4 years - most people are high levels, so even though many newbies joined, exping on early levels via RB parties is so fast that you barely ever party up with anyone (besides those RB parties) - which might be a problem if you want to play a char that's supposed to be played in party (like healer or nuker), because dual box is only allowed with premium account, which costs 10€ a month. As for the technical issues that you described, I don't want to make a second post, but: 1) As Poseidon mentioned, alt+tab should solve this issue. You might also try to play the game windowed. 2) Alt+P (or so-called 'lower details' in options menu) is your friend. The way L2 functions you couldn't get decent FPS in Giran Harbor even if you played on some kind of NASA supercomputer. I know it's annoying especially since you have a new rig, but this is the way™ You can make a poll about removing the offline shop, but I doubt you'd get a positive response.

Yeah but that was a different chronicle... Classic is something entirely different, you can go check Innova or NCsoft classic servers, it's equally bad everywhere, it's just how classic works.
-
That's a good point. But on the same note, I don't really see any fair way to solve this - lets say ok, B gun+18 is a bit too much. But where do you draw the line? +16? +15? No matter which you decide to be the max, there'll always end up being someone who'll get screwed over by this, making his gun unauctionable because he was lucky. "can be closed in few years"... Club is far more succesful than official classic servers, so I don't see a reason why it's such a big deal it's private server. If Innova/NCsoft had a real leverage to close this server they'd have done it before it caused their servers' demise.
