++I'm not too sure of that one either... Sure it wasn't "fair" by any standard but it distributed the drops amongst newbies, this change just makes it that the only people who get it will be the one who... Don't really need it. Meanwhile newbies will be stuck with C guns on 76. Dunno, not a big fan of this change anyways.

It just used to be a running joke here when admins were teasing the major Zaken patch as 'coming soon' even though it didn't come until like a year or two later... Now they didn't tease anything and just dropped this patch out of nowhere... What a time to be alive. It's probably not listed but it was definitely self-buff at least on NA offic... But whatever, the point is that even if it's not intended, it should not be changed. Mages deserve every little help they can get right now.

Actually, just checked and the new Eva's Kiss can actually be cast on other targets (it was only self-cast on NA official, mind you), so +10% m. skill power (and -10% mp. consumption as a bonus)... Not too shabby. Still no point in playing mage in this patch, but this is the kind of stuff that makes mages a bit more viable. This is the kind of stuff that makes Club so good, such a simple change that helps so much, that wouldn't be possible on official servers.

Holy knuckles now that's a nice surprise! Also, the cloak looks absolutely gorgeous now, congratz to anyone owning it. btw. THIS is the kind of stuff that deserves a mass mail, not the news about donations methods or donation bonuses, this is what attracts people (back) to server

a) As I mentioned before, you can make your own RB parties. It might take a bit longer if you don't play in EU primetime, but it's perfectly doable - btw. low level RBs don't go into zerk mode so you can easily do them with just one party. b) You get ton of free stuff - free shots, free guns, (basically) free D armor (via the Moon Knight quest), you get plenty of buffs from the achievements, you can even buy pretty cheap buffs for fishes. We had none of that stuff on patch 1.0 and yet many people solo-ed their way up (me included, since I used to play outside of EU prime time I often had to level up solo with my EE). Even now, there's ton of people who start without the boxed buffer because in many cases it's just not worth it - you level up so fast with the RB parties that you don't even get to do much farm on your own before 70, after which you're supposed to find a clan/CP anyway. The point is - if the idea of having to farm a bit in between the RB parties without boxed buff scares you, then maybe Classic isn't for you It's your choice anyway, just wanted to point out that having no box is not as big deal as you think.

Not sure what you mean, but... As you said, it's a 4++ year old server, it's normal that there are almost no people on low level location - moreover, most people level through early levels via raid parties, so there isn't really anything to do in those low lvl farming zones in a first place - you're supposed to either wait for an RB party or make RB party yourself when you see alive RB (you can check what's alive through the map window). The farming locations are mostly to kill time while waiting for the RB... The population is pretty damn good, it's just that most people are 70+...

I also think that the way it works now is fine - sure, gloves/boots/armor are cheapo, but the helmets are still so expensive that getting +6 set is nigh unobtainable for majority of the server...

Just to make sure - this is a forum for a private Classic server, not the official one. About your chars from Erica/Cronos - there was/were some cleanup/s, I'm not sure when exactly it was but around 2012 they decided to remove all inactive chars, so the chances are that your chars are gone anyway. Even if they weren't though, the official severs are on some G.o.D.+ chronicle now and it's virtually unplayable without money (you make basically zero progress without either buying stuff in NCstore or buying adena from other players for $). The oldschool servers are called 'Classic', but honestly the NA official classics are also hard P2W and EU offi is subscription-only, so the community isn't that big. My honest opinion that this (L2Classic Club) is the best Classic server you can play on at the moment. It's over 4 year old server so you won't find many people on low levels, but once you get 70+ there's a lot of people and thus plenty of action. If you're looking for some oldschool-ish L2 experience, give this server a chance

Just checked old chronicles databases... Been playing L2 for well over 10 years and never realized that they don't have the mastery... I never played SWS too much but still, totally blew my mind

It's always good to see some old faces... Surprised you stayed for so long on the NA classic, I gave up before 40 (around the time they introduced the pendants... At that point it became obvious that server was going nowhere). I'm quite satisfied with this one, I've been playing here with small breaks since day 1... Even though things don't move that quickly when it comes to updates and fixing stuff, you can be sure they always move the right way at least

It's a good point that some chars just have a hard time getting invited into RB parties, and most lowbie RB parties are done in EU primetime, so people who play less desired chars and/or in less active time zones could have that extra kick to get them forward... But again, it depends on how hard it would would be to implement, unless it's too hard to do I'm all for it.

I'd try to log out just for the reset time (i can't recall the exact time, but just follow the timer in the missions windows), it might work...

It's tough, but summoners eventually lose their healing potency in later stages of the game, because there's only so much you can do with a heal from level 14. When you're low level, your focus should be finding a bow so that you can act like a DD during raids, and eventually get a +6 Elven Mithril set for the crazy mana regen bonus. If you can't afford a bow, give me your nick and I'll take a look if I have any I could borrow you.

I noticed that the reset-ing missions sometimes get bugged when you're online during the time they reset (which is any early morning for daily missions and Sunday morning for weekly ones). You'll just have to wait for the next reset.

He probably means 'WH' - you can just go the Warehouse chief and re-take the 'A Game of Cards' quest twice (i.e. take quest -> abort -> take quest again -> abort again. It counts as 'completing' the quest for the daily task purposes) for free 50% exp scroll every day.

/up, could we please get those WH slots? 1 WH slot = 2 COLs, I can't imagine it being that difficult to do... Or 1€ = 5 WH slots (via ACP) so you guys have directly something out of it... @Koll please? Way too many events past those 4 years, way too many items to collect... Have some sympathy with us collectors who've been with the server since day 1

As people before me mentioned, depends on whether you're willing to pay for PA for boxed buffers. But generally I'd +1 setups with melee even if you want to AoE (tyrant especially), because mages are legit awful this patch (and we're likely going to wait a very long time before we get another one, at which point you can just reroll, so np).

I'd make a ticket via Account Control Panel (https://l2classic.club/account/ - "Tickets"), it looks like your char needs to be unstuck'd
