They kinda are supposed to do that tho, to a certain extent. Mages should be glass cannons that hit hard and get hit hard, and honestly before the KoE patch they were fulfilling only latter part of the equation. Just because you could kind of sort of make them semi-viable under specific conditions doesn't mean they were ok. Even with the bugged 113+ power I don't feel like chars like SPH or sorc are substantially broken atm. The problem is mostly with other chars who have better survival options and that's why I thought direct approach would work better here. And as I mentioned before, mages are an absolute disaster to exp right now, and taking KoE altogether from them would just send them back to obscurity for an average player. It was one of those not-official changes that took into account current state of the game and made it better, for most part.

Just a random thought about the mages, but if just fixing the high lv skills didn't work for some reason and we'd get into overcomplicated solutions, how about changing KoE to add only PvE bonus (can be even higher bonus than it currently is) while giving a flat boost to chars that need it (imo just sorc/sps/sph)? KoE being castable on other chars is important because leveling mages is garbage at this point, but if it brings some balance issues in PvP, then making it purely a farming tool while specifically targeting chars that are underpowered in PvP other ways could be a sensible approach.

Imo just check how the 80+ nukes work and fix what needs to be fixed... I'm strongly against half-ass solutions like taking the KoE away from mages or adding blessed SS - there's something funky with those high level nukes, so check them out and fix them, no need to overcomplicate things, we'd just end up with some sort of "mages again useless" or "fighters too OP now" in a week or two.

As far as I understand, the MEN giving resistance to debuffs is mostly a meme, i.e. the difference is so insignificant it's not even worth mentioning. It's like when those lifestyle websites telling you how e.g. avocado helps your skin and strengthen your bones or whatever but they don't tell you that the skin/bone buff is <0.0001% per ton of consumed guacamole. It's not just about quality, it's about quantity, simply put, MEN = trash.

It does seem to be variable to a certain extent though: or I wouldn't really read much into it... It doesn't show how the graphics used to look like, it simply dives in the depths of your soul to reflect your deepest and darkest desires, but since it only works via IVM (interdimensional void magic), it prints the data in a way that's operable within the game's code. Here it tries to communicate with you by learning of its surroundings, and since you don't "talk" to it to let it learn your language, it absorbs its nearby surroundings. So nothing interesting about it, sry. Not dumb question at all - yup, DA is one of the best chars on this chronicle tbh. You're going to exp pretty quickly because obviously RB parties need tank, and when there's no RB party you exp fairly quickly with your summon, too. Crazy good char for a solo player, much needed in most situations, very strong in PvP too.

Well perhaps I worded it wrong - didn't meant to say WL is worse than other chars, just that it's not like on the old chronicles where you could just do trains to be significantly faster than single-target farming. If you enjoy playing it, you can play it just like any other char, just that your progress speed will be around the same as any other fighter char. Also WLs get a long-range stun on Classic which is pretty neat for PvP

If you don't want to box, then don't. It's fairly easy to get to high levels just by scouting for RB parties in /partymatching and of course making your own raid parties. From the chars you mentioned, BD is probably the safest bet for easy partying. I wouldn't play Warlord without box anyway, and it's just not worth going for WL these days (doing RBs is faster than doing trains anyways). Ultimately tho you should just play what you enjoy the most, even the OL won't be much of an issue to bring up

Odd you being one of the #1st1k and still being surprised that people hop on to drama topics just to be part of the drama. Take the political/news discussions on the internet where people spend 5 minutes googling and end up having a definite opinion (which they defend at any cost) just because they want a piece of the action, amplify it 10 times and you got average Club drama topic poster 😄

As Arse said you only get 1 without paying for extra, but it's not as wack as it sounds - with most chars you level up until lategame just fine by scouting for RBs and RB parties in /partymatching. With box you'd more often than not just become frustrated that you're increasing the gap between it and your main because boxes don't always get invited into parties, and the bigger level gap there is the less exp your box recieves, making it even harder to catch up. At high lv you just find a CP or some semi-CP and you'll be just fine.

The truth is that Club is based on C4 extender, same as NA offical servers. Fun fact: even the WoW classic is based on C4 extender. Actually just a couple of week ago they've made this deep research on quarks in protons and they found traces of C4 code so good chances is that our lives are built on C4 pts files. FACTS.

Well... How about a fullscreen then? But one thing that caught my attention, you say you play for an hour and then it starts - how are you temperatures? It might be caused by some of your component overheating... try to download SpeedFan and check the temps when it starts freezing again.

Never understood how it works either, for me it's always been a magical last-ditch effort aka "if nothing else works, I might as well try to click this". I think it helped me once with crashes though. Tried playing in windowed mode as well?

Izi solution play without shots xDDddd I suppose you already did, but anyway - have you tried tuning the graphic settings? Lower the effects option or disable gpu acceleration, stuff like that...
