  1. As for your last question, the population is stagnating down with some decline, but I strongly believe that server will grow again after patch 2.0
  2. It wouldn't be fair now, but I have to give it to OP that many fighters will objectively exp faster until level ~70 with Othell's rune on patch 2.0. I'd say that current system should be kept for high level chars, but chars 1-70 could get a different system. Classes from 5th and 4th group will exp much faster in 2.0 than nukers with Othell's rune and ToI, so the class change rules need to be changes one way or another. <70 chars should be able to reroll to whatever they want except for tanks/supports.
  3. That's the thing, these people who screw around just aren't motivated enough for bug hunting... I say give them a little something to look forward to and watch the results. There is absolutely nothing to lose. @kktnxbye I just want that 2.0 asap
  4. Sure many people just screw around in OBT... Which is exactly a reason why bug bounty needs to be implemented, you mobilize the people to do something useful. The difference bettween CBT w/ invitations and OBT w/ bug bounty program is that you get 10 times more work done with the latter.
  5. As I said earlier it's just level 1 on patch 2.0, that's 20% m.atk down from regular Emp lv 3. I believe even with the introduction of these stews, SEs won't become drastically less valuable, since that's what OP cares about.
  6. So all in all still not a single objective argument against rewarding players for helping finding bugs on OBT. In case anybody missed it, here are objective reasons why bugs bounty program is necessary: A. Getting more people to OBT and 2. Motivating the current and new testers to find bugs actively, leading to C. Getting the 2.0 files as optimilized as possible, alongside with D. Getting the optimilized 2.0 files to live server as soon as possible, leading further to 5. Halting the decline of current playerbase (some of them which may potentially leave for good) F. Soft prevention of the concealment of abusable bugs The reward can be a part of the discussion. I personally would suggest that XP/SP scrolls should be at least part of the reward, to make up for the time spent beta testing instead of farming. As someone mentioned above, the competition system would drastically increase the effectiveness of the testing due to its nature. However, the question of whether or not should we reward the beta testers is solved; there're multiple reason why it's highly beneficial and not a single argument has been made against it. The sooner the rewards are announced, the better. And just for the record I'm not even testing (I spent roughly half hour in OBT in total).
  7. Just adding to what San0 said, here's the table of enchant spoils from the description topic: ITEM MONSTER AMOUNT CHANCE LOCATION Scroll: Enchant Weapon B Cave Keeper 1 0.06% Dragon Valley Cave Maiden 1 0.07% Dragon Valley Valley Treant 1 0.04% Enchanted Valley Scroll: Enchant Weapon C Tarlk Bugbear Warrior 1 0.2% Forest of Evil Cave Servant Archer 1 0.3% Dragon Valley Dragon Bearer Archer 1 0.3% Dragon Valley Perum 1 0.4% Cruma Tower Nos Lad 1 0.2% Alligator Island Scroll: Enchant Weapon D Kanil Succubus 1 0.3% Forgotten Temple Marsh Spider 1 0.2% Cruma Marshlands Roughly Hewn Rock Golem 1 0.2% Dion Hills Turak Bugbear 1 0.2% Gorgon Floran Garden Silenos 1 0.2% Plains of Dion
  8. I mean even his nick ending with '88HH', I think we'll be better off without him

Hmm, actually as far as I remember the adena drop rate used to be 100% when server started, I remember being salty as hell when they decided to lower it to 70%... But yeah the ammount was excruciating, people switching off their shots in AoE parties thinking nobody would notice

Still have some for this price?
  11. +1 for ban, taking adena and not even bothering to stand up and give few buffs which doesn't cost him anything... People who are toxic to newbies are hurting the server as whole.
  12. Also soon we'll be able to get empower scrolls from fishing, even though only level 1... As for if it's worth making SE - depends. They're definitely requested in parties because they're a good combination of recharging/healing/buffing. Sure many people take SE as a box but you shouldn't have problem playing SE main.
  13. Random shot in the dark, but tried changing your DNS server adresses? Click on the connection properties and internet protocol version 4 properties: And try to type 8.8.8.8 into preferred and 8.8.8.4 into alternate. It's unlikely to do anything but at least you can say you tried.
  14. I think people are exaggerating this. Especially since you have, by default, 7 report points per week (I'm not sure now but if I recall correctly it was also limited to one report per day), there's no point in randomly reporting everyone, especially since there's absolutely nothing to gain from it - it's not some automated process which would automatically ban someone who recieves X reports, it's really just to notify GMs to check that person. I mean sure there would be some people who would do it just for giggles but I honestly believe there wouldn't be enough of them to make it an actual issue. The pros heavily outweight the (potential) cons - you mention discord as the fastest way. That still involves - even if we consider the lowest effort way without any screenshot/video etc. - going to some safe area, open net, finding the discord (since most people don't even realize there's one), then finding the appropriate room and then reporting the potential botters nick. And that's enough effort for the person to just say to himself "well sh*t maybe it's not a bot after all". I dare to say that this way absolute majority of bots who aren't directly affecting other players' farm go unreported.
  15. Unfortunately I think you're going to have problem finding party... Not impossible though, every now and then I see people looking for buffers but not too often... I wrote a blog post a while ago about why I f**king hate videogames, because this is what it does, it appe- I made a suggestion a while ago to motivate even non-AoE players to party up but unfortunately one guy hijacked my topic so admins scratched that, so right now if you want to party up randomly (outside of CPs) you need to pick a char which helps in AoE. I think solo PP is going to be almost surprisingly good once the patch 2.0 hits live... Othell's Rune + bow + might/haste/death whisper + +12STR/-15CON + root doesn't sound all too bad
  16. I'm fairly sure its +1k even outside of siege times
  17. I don't play archie but I've heard the high level archer CPs on offic are using different runes anyway since with fullbuff you get close to the cap anyway and it doesn't provide such drastic change, as reaper mentioned. But I think one way or another nukers are going to dominate here on 2.0 anyway because of the crazy overenchanted guns (ruoff have like ~ +7 mage weapons max and here we have many +12 guns) with combination of the seraph buff.
  18. Tbh capping DYEs at +5 could work as a soft tool to prevent a complete nuker domination in 2.0
  19. 1) Not everyone is willing to sacrifice their time for good of others. Sure there're some good hearted people who do this because they're heroes and care about the server but there's not nearly enough of them. The more testers we get to OBT the faster we'll get it live (and in better condition, too) 2) Not all bugs are exactly restrictive, if you know what I mean. Giving players motivation to report these bugs instead of waiting to abuse it on live can prevent some awkward and dangerous situations. These are two definite reasons why bug bounty hunting is vastly positive thing and should be implemented as soon as possible. End of topic.
