  3. probably they just don't care. would be nice if we had forum rules for language thou, because as mentioned before if everyone started to type in their own language, it would be a total mess here. so at least in the general sections keep english as main language, ru and others can simply use their subforum.
  4. if that section is for clan recruitment only, i guess it just needs to be organized in active and passive clans. in other words: active clans that are currently recruiting could be moved to the top list(sticky) and leave the less active in the list below, but something like that cannot be done right at the start simply because otherwise there would be just a sea of sticky threads. it would be much better if a Clan leader or a Vice would pm an admin/mod on forums with a request for sticky thread, and then every 1~2 weeks if they need to confirm that their recruitment is still active they could simply bump the thread. otherwise, if there was no bumps after X amount of time for active recruitment, or they declared that they stopped recruiting, their thread could be simply pinned down.

    ​i know what you meant, but that's something that does not belong in L2C game mechanics. otherwise the mana recharge skill from buffers would have no reason to exist, same with other skills like mana burn for PvP. those potions would have a much greater impact than just PvE, and trust me, i've had enough of my share with QHP and CP pots already. this server needs nothing customized really, it just needs to be as close as retail game mechanics as possible.
  7. tbh, considering that 90% of the recruitment threads are from russians, i guess that many english speaking players will gather mostly around here for the time being.

    then feel free to add a guide to materials spoils, since you know so much. the skills listed on L2Central seem reliable enough. i'm afraid you'll find mostly ru sites with infos. there's also some link here on forums to a spanish site with infos about exp curves, but that's all there it is.

  10. i wouldn't be so sure about that. i mean, it's a given that if the p.server is full of bugs and has many features that don't work as intended, people will choose to go offi. however, should the p.server be fixed enough for a decent gameplay, things may be different. and considering how L2C ru ended up nowdays, i guess many people will ask themself: do i want to keep playing on a p.server with better rates than offi where i can play for free and have a box from other PCs as well, or i'm willing to pay X monthly fee for 1 or more accaunts in order to play on an offi server with crippled rates and eventually low population? [edit] not to mention that it's not sure they'll even open a L2C server in eu. there's a chance to open it based on the registrations achieved, but it's not guaranteed.

    there's buffers with mana recharge for a reason. and regarding potions altogether: i sure as hell don't want to see again those quick healing potions and CP potions with 50/200 CP recovery. it was bad enough when some people were spamming them in PvP for istant health recovery, and it was pretty much retarded/imbalanced for some classes. i hope we won't have any similar failure of game mechanic ever again, but i guess that's up to the korean developers.
  12. there's a thing that most people usually forget about spoilers: it is much more easy/safe/profitable to spoil at low levels since you can farm mobs without too many issues even if you're alone, rather than mid-high lvs where you will probably not be able to solo mobs anymore due to lack of gear. long story short: spoilers are best suited for farming mats at low levels, warsmiths benefit more from leveling since they will be able to craft better soulshots, better items and get better summons for pvp. not to mention that warsmiths in previous patches, they were also able to buff group members in order to increase armor/weapon effectiveness, so that's surely more than welcome for PvP/vE groups compared to spoilers that just...well...spoil. don't know if they'll get the same skills in later patches thou, since apparently many skills have already been reworked and new ones have been added as well( when i saw sword singers getting a damage+silence skill, got rly surprised).
  13. if in L2C offi the exp for example was 0.6, and here will be x3, i presume it's going to be 1.8. same with SP/adena. the rates here will be surely better than classic anyway, maybe even better than the very first C1 offi.
  14. ​lol'd hard. the guy from that interview clearly has never seen a destroyer in zealot+rage+frenzy+guts. ​He knows nothing about Necros, either. Even in retail Prelude (2004) through C2, Necros were the best at PvP. People just didn't know how to play them. On my own server (the most populated, Hindemith), there were only three known Necros that made it past 40 back then. Two of them sucked. I was infamous with mine because I would more often than not win 3v1's with similar geared/leveled players, won 1v1's 100% of the time, and would almost always win 2v1's. C3 is when Necro became even MORE OP and everyone started rolling them. But even before then, they were OP if you knew how to play them. Assuming this server is retail-like in how it works, I'll school you guys, :). the problem with mmorpgs is that people that are not able to play a class properly will always give it a bad reputation. i still remember in C3/C4 many people playing necros like they were summonners or some kind of underpowered spellhowler, and then complaining when they were getting easily killed in PvP. then you had very few people that knew how to use slow/sleep/silence/anchor in the proper way, and they could kill pretty much anything without too many issues. same thing with destroyers: there were many of them running around with greatsword for pvp because it was cool and all, and then complaining when they couldn't kill some classes. then there was few of them running around with +4 DEX tattoos and using 2h Blunts for PvP, and boy if it wasn't fun to perma stun people to death. i agree on that. however, some things will probably change with the introduction of A grade equipment along with new skills in later patches, so stuff like stuns and other debuffs will probably be way more RNG based than before. or at least, that's what will happen unless they plan to rework on skill toggles and armor sets as well.

PMFun database: http://lineage.pmfun.com/ Very old site, useful mostly for materials infos, mobs spoil, drops and whatnot. on a side note: many of the skills listed on PMFun are different/missing from Classic, since they're taken from previous chronicles up to Hellbound, so don't rely on those. everything else from characters stats to items should be reliable, as long as nothing else was changed in Classic beside skills.     it will probably be just a stress test for the server stability. they did say that they already had a beta test before, so i presume that if majority of bugs got fixed already, they just want to check the server stability in order to avoid any issues(crashes/restarts) on launch date.

  20. go for TS3. it's easy to setup, and it's the most used one in gaming.
  21. and that's fine, but what's not clear is if they will do another OBT for testing purposes before the 15th, or if it's actually planned for the 15th. checking stuff again to make further bug fixes is ok, it's just that the way the site it's being promoted right now with prizes and everything makes it looks like it will go directly Live on the 15th without any other OBTs before.
  22. i honestly have yet to understand if there will be another beta testing followed by a reset + live version next, or if we're going directly live the 15th with no wipes. but considering that they apparently tested the client before, i hope we're just going live without issues on the 15th.
  23. i'm quite interested as this will be probably one of the first international clans out there, but what do you exactly mean by "assets"? i'm asking because i've always been used to gear up my characters by myself, so if i'll have to put time and effort into making my own items again, i would rather keep them if i had to stop playing for any reason. however, if you meant items provided by the clan itself via raid bosses/craft, in that case i can understand the request, and i could simply put them back in CWH in case of temporary break/quit.
  24. i see. regarding the language folder of the client, since the ru.4game version is all in russian, will we have to change it manually?
  25. i'll ask here to avoid opening another thread: i've seen that there's 3 servers(EU, RU and US), are they all located in the same place? if so, what's their location? i'm asking simply because if they're all located nearby and the ping would be the same for each server, i'd rather prefer to play in a community with a majority of english/american players, rather than a mixed one.
