it doesn't bother me that much, but i guess it's just weird to see the nickname of a player followed by its level. it wasn't like that pre-GoD, since only the name was dispalyed, but i suppose it got changed in Classic.

in theory, only some specific lv 40+ buffs should require spellbooks. most of those are dropped at Ivory Tower crater and Outlaw Forest. probably somewhere else as well, like Cruma Tower and Dragon Valley.

atm adena amount rates should be x20, but the drop chance is kinda broken and there's penalties on green mobs too.

with the drop rates set at x20 in OBT, no shit that shots are cheap, considering all the items dropped by mobs. i was just killing mobs yesterday in a specific spot for about 10 minutes, and in that short amount of time i already had dropped at least 4-5 entire armor pieces. things will be different in Live.

i'm afraid that you are the one not thinking things through. people are looking forward to this project simply because it doesn't have any pay to win shit like Innova has with L2 and JP has with L2C. the moment they'll introduce any kind of p2w stuff, be it even just x1 rates boost, many people will stop bothering with this project and leave, simply because p2w is already bad on retail, let aside on p.servers. as i said before, there's already plenty of mid-high rates server out there. classic is not meant to be easy mode, and be grateful that rates are already x3, wich is like 1/2 of what the official rates were back in the days. L2C is not your casual game where you reach endgame in 2-3 weeks, get geared, get bored and quit. it's meant to be a long journey with many challenges, and the fact that someone else may have more time to play than you is no excuse to have boosts of any sort on PA, especially when you already have dualboxing unlocked, wich is a HUGE advantage considering this chronicle, and drop/spoil infos in game with a PA.

also, when you get back to town to deliver the quest, do not pick the first answer, but the second. i selected the first answer cause i don't know russian, and my quest failed. i had to start all over again...

if they limit the offline shops to 6~12 hours max, it won't be a problem. and beside, i'd rather save my time and real money by having an offline shop, instead of having to keep my PC running while staring at a monitor hoping to sell my stuff. but i guess you're not the one paying the bills in your house.

probably that. althou, would be better if they could at least make an automated announcement for downtime incoming with 5 minutes notice. getting disconnected while doing stuff without any kind of notice is not rly nice.

there's a reason why teleports have adena fees, and there's a reason why castles have taxes on town grocery/manor/teleporters. i could understand if it was for OBT only, but keep it out of Live. people that want easy mode gameplays should not be playing on a classic server. there's already plenty of mid-high rates p.servers out there.

was just thinking that it would be nice to have a status check on the main website and/or forum in order to see if the server is currently online and playable, or offline due to bug fixes and whatnot. by doing that, people wouldn't had to wait at the login screen while hoping to enter, if they already knew that a manteinance was ongoing. might be useful for OBT phase and later on for Live as well.

i've tried to re-send the accaunt verification e-mail 5 times now, and i still haven't got any e-mail for the validation. i even tried with different e-mails but still got nothing, so i guess there must be some issues with enjin. in any case, i'll just try to contact you in game when i'm online.

keep in mind that any attack on stunned targets has a chance to remove the stun effect too, so that's might be why stun isn't lasting for 9 seconds. just try to stun a mob, and wait for the stun to wear off to see if it's exactly 9 seconds by default.

i've checked stuff today, and i've noticed that while not all NPCs have the english text, the quests taken usually are all translated in english when you check them via personal quest window. i don't know if it's like this for all the quests thou, since so far i only checked those in the starting areas. perhaps it's only a problem with the NPCs text, but it needs further testing.

" Each time, they adapte the game, depends of the players region. most likely, EU offi will have different/higher rates than ru/kr, if that's what the mods were trying to say. of course, IF they'll decide to open a server at all. i wouldn't be surprised thou, considering the situation on kr/ru.

if they could simply limit the offline shops to all characters lv20+ that have completed the 1st class transfer + giving it a timeframe of 12h max for the offline shop, should be more than fine.

with rates x20, probably it won't take more than 1-2 weeks at max to test most of the stuff.
