Dion server x3 Rates Explained

Dear friends!

We have been following comments about server rates very closely.

Based on suggestions and it's discussion, we have a need to bring some important information to the light, so you understand why we have chosen rates to be x3 and not lower.

Classic EXP table is very different from older chronicles (C1 - Interlude - HF) which people are referring to while making EXP rate change suggestions. 

Let me explain you how different it is with few numbers.
Note: EXP values for other chronicles are taken by us while making tests on C4 official PTS files, first leaked PTS files.

On x1 Classic you need 3,041,801,165 EXP to level your character to level 70
On x1 older chronicles i listed above, that EXP will be enough to level 3 characters to level 76, 31.24%

On x1 Classic you need a total of 5,963,335,189 EXP to get your character to level 76, so it is almost 6 76.3 level characters on x1 of older chronicles.
So EXP wise even x3 on Classic is harder than x1 on older chronicles, and it gets harder higher you get.

We understand that many of you thinks that lower rates number sounds more appealing (as you saw on other projects running on older chronicles), but we have been setting rates to x3 not because number 3 sounds funky or stuff like that, but because we have considered all the EXP difference and tried to make it hard, but not unbearable for some players.

 

Here are 2 tables for you for more clarity

1 - C1 - HF Exp table. Numbers there may be not 100% accurate, but are very close, and our tests on C4 official PTS files confirm it.

2 - Classic EXP table, which was taken from official Classic wiki and our server is fully corresponds with it's numbers.

Still, if you want it harder than what it is going to be with x3 rates, we are ready to consider removing EXP boosts from Achievement system and Strix.
We will get to you with a discussion about it in a near future.

x3 without EXP Boosts is basically x2 with EXP Boosts. So simply removing all the EXP Scrolls from Achievement System and Strix is a good solution in my opinion as well. 

Just remember to also nerf Raid Boss EXP too ;)

Yep, remove scrolls or do w/ever you want, TI is dead anyway.

Again I have to repeat that the success of Club is not based on some no-lifers joining the server and crying on forums and discord 24/7 and then leave when they drained the juice they wanted. Club is made by people who are not that much vocal & play casually but steadily. And what a better way to lose these players by killing TI, and creating a new server which will be unplayable for everyday people.

In any case even if the rates are x0.00005, these few clowns that don't have a life will reach the top anyway, so why make it hard for everyone in the 1st place? 1.5 Chronicle x3 is already grinding af, hard and seems like a chore anyway. Make it harder? Say bb to most of the userbase.

By now it's pretty clear that you're not even slightly considering of merging within the next 2-3 years.

Please re-evaluate your approach and stop paying attention to forum and discord warriors.

1 thing is total xp you need to achieve something, but with that you also have to consider how much xp you make
how much xp can 60 lvl mage party pull on c4 in 20 minutes? and how much can same party pull on classic? pretty sure the number is not same and that you gain much more xp in classic, which means its not exactly 3x harder to lvl up on those 2 chronicles even if total xp is 3x higher

removing xp scrolls is minimum what you can do, only xp boost which should ever exist are fishing stews (10%) and clan online bonus (15%?), and those are both 2.0 i believe

I am very amused by people who insist on making life difficult for themselves.
In general, the community should strive to develop the server, and not to artificially slow down progress.
It's strange to see so many people think low level pvp is anything interesting. Although it is obvious to everyone that, for example, support classes are revealed only at high levels.

The starting stage of the game has long been passed by everyone many times. Does anyone really want to lengthen it more and more?

Therefore, I vote for all possible boosts on exp. They absolutely do not need to be removed from the game.

A point of lowering rates/removing xp scrolls is to slow down progression and play server for months not for weeks

No, but we could just not delete items, which must be in game according to patchnote.

Even if there are CPs with online 24/7, this will not give them anything. Such people quickly get tired of playing in this mode. There is also a high chance that they will be banned for RMT. Moreover, the rest of the players will still get to their level. This is confirmed by the practice of off-server, and the club too.

The problem of the classic has always been the lack of full-fledged content at high levels. With your unsubstantiated judgments, you only make it so that you completely remove the desire to get to high content.

both me and my crew are fine with the x3 if the exp boosts are non-existent or minimal from start

lowering too much the rates might scare some more casual people who are in the end also important to the server

according to 1.5 patchnotes, i am pretty sure xp scrolls were not a thing and were introduced in later updates, so when ppl say no to xp scrolls, they are not removing something that should be here according to patch notes

How can I tell you grandson, this server has a very different meta and coding than other servers. Things you won't notice because you're used to just pressing two buttons and answering to your party leader. And don't be afraid, I without a party I'll be much better than you, I'm glad you're concerned about my problem, but don't worry. I played this game when you were still in your father's balls. I don't claim to be one of the usual suspects, just I'm having fun.
